Por quinto año consecutivo el NH Resort Almenara de Sotogrande se engalana para acoger la Gran Final del Circuito de Golf El Corte Inglés. Una cita ya ineludible en el calendario y que ha confirmado a dos marcas de primer nivel como referentes para los amateurs del deporte golfístico. Y es que los privilegiados que este fin de semana acuden al complejo Almenara tienen atenciones que en nada envidian a los profesionales del circuito. Ayer fue la jornada de prácticas y reconocimiento del campo, culminadas con una espectacular barbacoa en el salón Carteia. Hoy sábado llegará el momento de la verdad para los aspirantes al triunfo final. A partir de las 9.30 horas, salida el tiro, y con tiempo límite hasta las 15.30, los amateurs que durante el año se han ganado el derecho a estar en la cita, se enfrentarán al exigente y maravilloso recorrido de Almenara. Tras la jornada deportiva, los jugadores podrán disfrutar del Elysium Spa de Almenara, un centro de relajación y culto al cuerpo que es la envidia de buena parte de Europa.

Asimismo, y paralelamente al torneo se celebran otras actividades. Entre ellas las demostraciones por parte de personal especializado de Sky Caddie del primer medidor de distancia que permite jugar como un profesional. Este gadget calcula la distancia de cada golpe de manera precisa, gracias a su GPS y a la calidad de los mapas que incorpora, que además se pueden actualizar por internet. El colofón a la gran final del circuito, cuya casa es Almenara, tendrá lugar a las 21.30 horas con un cockatil, cena de gala y posterior entrega de premios en la que también habrá sorpresas. Éxito en el golf resort de Almenara con el Torneo Sehrs del pasado 7 de Junio 2009

Con un tiempo bastante agradable, un escenario espectacular, algo habitual en Almenara, y con un centenar de jugadores se celebró el torneo Sehrs de golf. Se trata de la primera agencia turística en relaciones con el complejo de NH y que apuesta por el recorrido de Los Lagos y Los Pinos como punto de encuentro de sus amigos, clientes y aficionados.

Se trata de la segunda edición del Sehrs Golf, ya que la primera tuvo lugar en Calanova, aunque la intención, tras el magnífico resultado organizativo y en el resto de áreas de la competición, es mantener el campeonato en Almenara.

La pareja formada por Francisco Gil Rojas y Julián Romaguera fue la que ocupó el primer puesto en esta segunda convocatoria deportiva del touroperador. Este grupo consiguió 44 puntos .La segunda plaza fue para el binomio Juan Antonio Roca y Francisco José Toscazo.

Tras la entrega de trofeos todos los participantes disfrutaron de un excelente cocktail, servido en las magníficas instalaciones del Resort, y donde también hubo reparto de regalos, entre los que destacaron green-fees para jugar en los campos de la lujosa urbanización sanroqueña. Sin duda una competición y un día de golf, espectaculares en todos los sentidos.
